Happy Birthday Lizzy

Oh Sweet Elizabeth!  

When you are born on Thanksgiving, you are bound to have some hectic birthdays.

This year we thought we had it figured out.

It fell on the day after Thanksgiving.

She had her menu planned out and her cake shape and flavor picked out.

I was all stocked up to make it happen. 

And then our sweet Grandma Ison passed away

and we were in a flurry of preparations to join family in celebrating her life.

Lizzy was all sweetness as everything was changed.

I hadn't wrapped anything yet so we invented a game of 

"Find your presents"

while eager helpers-to-be were asked to stay put on the stairs to watch.

She loved it!

Her heart cake with chocolate frosting 

turned into attempted heart shaped cupcakes

which we took to Malad to share with cousins.

Elizabeth is so loving.  She often asks me what she can do to help me.

She is so tender to the little boys.

She loves beautiful things.

We love you Lizzy Belle!
