A VERY busy month....

I have spent many hours sitting and planning

the blog posts I would write to catch us up on the last month or so.
It's not gonna happen.
Laundry, feeding kids, cooking, feeding baby, laundry, errands, feeding baby, breaking up fights, meetings, cleaning....these things are happening and I'm still behind.

So here is the ONE
catch up post.

My sweet sister-in-law Alisha had a shower for me.
Her jungle theme was adorable.

We got lots of fun baby boy stuff which just got me so excited!
The smell of the bath wash,
the soft cute clothes and blankets,
the itty bitty diapers....
my huge awkward belly~
all made me even more anxious for baby to come!

Then we had our stake Pioneer Day Activity.
Dean did the planning for it and we all had a good time.
A wonderful breakfast,
a kiddo bicycle trek,
tug-of-war, bobbing for apples, whirl-a-gigs, prairie diamonds, and handcart rides and races.
Great job honey!
I was even convinced to compete in the 3-legged race ~we came in 3rd place!

I'm only posting it because it is the last picture of me big and preggo...

Just a few hours after that race my water broke!!!
I was so excited!
Baby's coming!
We might have a Pioneer Day Baby!
Perfect for a baby named after his Pioneer Great-great-great-great grandfather!

And then nothing....
Nothing happened.
All day.
All night.
All the next morning.
Nothing.
No contractions.
No pioneer baby.
So we went to the hospital after waiting for 18 hours.
We walked and soaked in the jet tub all morning and all afternoon and all evening.

Finally about 8 p.m things got busy
and at 9:30 p.m. our baby boy was in my arms!

Born July 25th (10 days early! :)
Weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. / 22 inches long

We are all so in love!
