Beast Removal ~ Part Three

The reason I wanted The Beast removed in the first place
was so that we could then work on having
a level sidewalk and a better lawn.

We still don't have level sidewalks or a lawn.

Here's what we do have.....

The original uneven sidewalk smashed to pieces
from falling chunks of The Beast.

A mailbox with battle scars.

A LOT of wood.
A giant stump,
enormous chunks of The Beast still lying in the yard
waiting to be cut smaller and added to the wood pile,
and the original ugly yard, dying and becoming uglier...
if that's possible.

A very hard working man,
an overused chainsaw,
and endless supplies of sawdust.

All that's left to do now is
*Remove the stump and root system
*Haul away the truckloads of sawdust (from the stump grinding)
*Fix the sidewalk and driveway
*Dig up the yard
*Repair the sprinkler system
*Lay new sod and landscaping

Oh, that's ALL you have to do... not much. NOT! I feel overwhelmed for you. :)

I say let's use up some of that wood, and have a solid bonfire in the church fire pit. :) S'MORES!! Sounds like a party to me.
