Rock Climbing Family Night

We took the kids climbing one night and told them they could have ice cream later if they would climb higher than dad's head.
The olders all did it and though Levi did not, the injustice of everyone else getting some and not him would have made his mind explode ~ he got some too.

Jackson and Micaela climbed for over an hour.  Lizzy and Levi enjoyed the slide that goes from upstairs where the exercise machines are down to the climbing area, just behind Micaela in  that  picture.

Lizzy climbed a lot better than I thought she would but when the worker told her to just let go of the wall and lean back so he could lower her, she looked at him like he'd just grown an extra head.  It took awhile to get her down.  Dean had to climb up next to her and coax her to follow instructions.
