We were SO excited to get a visitor!
Thank you Poppa for coming to see us!
We took him to Dinosaur National Monument, which we love!
The boys were ALL over him!
He arrived just as we were pulling our Friday night pizzas out of the oven.
I was glad, we made a meat lovers just for him! :o)
He is always such a good sport about playing with the kids
and doing things that they enjoy.
It was a quick but much appreciated visit.
I still have to laugh about his drive here.
He had told us a time he thought he might arrive,
and he's usually right on the mark or even early.
He called us about the time he thought he would arrive
and was a bit flustered.
"Where the heck are you guys?"
We figured out where he was and told him he still had a couple of hours.
Now we know, when you think of where we live,
don't think Utah -> Salt Lake -> a bit to the east.
No. Just think Colorado.
Yea, it's about 10 minutes down the road.
Sorry Dad.
