There is a reservoir here called
Red Fleet.
The Indians named it this because at a distance,
the red hills, tilted of course,
look like a fleet of red ships.
On a beautiful December day
Dean and I took the little boys on a hike
while the biggers were at school.
The trail is called
Dinosaur Trackway
because when you get down to the water
there are fossilized dinosaur footprints along the shore.
Cool, huh?!?!?!
We didn't go the whole way this day
but will soon.
