This Girl + This Boy = Happiness
They really do adore each other.
You can see it more so on Micaela's face,
which is typical.

Tonight Levi would not stop eating.
He had a rough day.
A round of shots
combined with another tooth breaking through
made for a sad, hurting babe.
His soothing tools are just what I would want on a bad day.
Lots of Tylenol.
Lots of snuggles.
Lots of food.
(My food choices would be WAAAAAY different.)
We started with Avocados,
which he snarfs like a pro.

My mommy heart couldn't bear his sobs
when the bowl and spoon were taken away.
So we mashed half a banana up for dessert.

He's looking full,
don't ya think?
Well, he's not.
Resume sobbing when bowl and spoon leave again.
Hello Sweet Peas.

A little milk,
clean diaper,
jammies,
and snuggles
and finally all is well.

This. Is. Heaven.
Rarely will my little guy fall asleep in my arms
(although more than his siblings ever did).
I LOVE this.

Would you believe that at the moment of this peaceful shot
(and for 15 minutes after)
the biggest fight that my middle two have EVER had
was happening just down the hall?
Believe it.
Screaming, hitting, wailing, punching, yelling, sobbing, screaming (yes, it deserves mentioning twice).
Getting ready for bed usually involves a little of this and that.
But tonight they reached new levels.
Mach 10.
It was incredible.
Our family goal this week was to be more positive with each other,
which is why Dean and I stayed with Levi.
Dean did finally enter the war zone,
but only after things started falling off the bathroom walls.

Oh, what a rich post.
Such a love of a cuddle boy.
Precious pictures.
And the reality down the hall . . . .arg.
I just love Levi!!! He makes me smile every time!!! And I am relieved to find that my kids aren't the only ones who create war zones!! ;)
The instant you decide to try to have a "positive" week..the adversary WILL test you...to the max! Dang it.
Sounds like you and Dean passed the test. :) Good job.
Funny!: "Only after things started falling off . . ."
Love the picture of you and Levi.
Candice, you look fabulous! The fight down the hall...seriously hilarious to read about! Although, I hate those at my house. Snuggle that baby as long as you can...they sure grow up way too fast don't they?!
Ahhh! So sweet!
And you look awesome!
