Happy 3rd of July!
Our 4th of July celebrating seems to have started early this year. We began in the morning with Grandma and Grandpa on their boat at Lucky Peak. We rode the tube, cruised around and played on and off the dock.
In the evening we celebrated our great-Grandma's 94th birthday! It was really Aunt Tawnya's birthday and we gave Uncle Tim an honorary mention for his birthday last week. But Grandma was the guest of honor! Lots of family and our friends across the street, the Angells, came to celebrate with us. We had some treats and 90 minutes of fireworks! Dean found some really great ones, especially his grand finale. They were beautiful! I didn't get any pictures of them though. I was either plugging little ears or lighting morning glories for the kiddos.
We love having friends and family over, sharing treats, having fun, keeping kids safe from Jerry and Dean's pyromania AND celebrating this great nation we live in. We honor the inspired men who founded this nation and sacrificed all for the freedoms they left us. We honor the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend those freedoms. We feel blessed to live in the land of the free. May it remain so.

Thanks! It was fun to celebrate at your place.
Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see a picture of Grandma. Hope she had a good b-day.
Amen to you patriotic thoughts.
And thanks for celebrating.
Megan, sorry I didn't get a better picture!
