The Bike

A few weeks ago Dean decided that because he drives around a lot that a motorcycle would save gas and thus be a good investment. He looked around a lot and eventually came home with one. All 3 kids were very wary of it at first. Jackson had one slow ride and hasn't asked for another. Elizabeth also had one slow ride and also hasn't asked again. Whenever she see's Dean now she says over and over, "Daddy. Bike. Homek (helmet)." She wakes up saying this. It is on her mind all the time. I think it's because it's kind of noisy. Once Micaela got a taste of it there was no looking back. Dean tells me that when they go to the empty lot near our house she yells at him, "Faster Dad! Go faster! Hit that bump Dad! WAHOO!" He says he is often already going as fast as he feels comfortable taking her and he admits to that being faster than I should see.
Here Micaela uses the throttle to give it a little gas.
At first she was worried that she would send them
flying. Dean showed her what "it's in neutral" meant
and then she was fine!
